Ask most investors, and they'll tell you that the market turnaround in February was very sudden. Shockingly sudden, even.

That's true -- if all you look at is the news. After all, coronavirus was stealing the spotlight since January, and then all of a sudden in February investors "got the message."

The reality is that the market tipped off its hand to the sell-off weeks, even months in advance. In fact, says our European Financial Forecast editor Brian Whitmer in the article you're about to read,
